Restoring what makes us human
We work with leaders and organizations at the intersection of human capacity and systemic change.
ScrollWhat We Do
Organizations don't struggle because of strategy gaps. They struggle because the humans inside them are being stretched past what's sustainable — and now, with AI reshaping how work gets done, that pressure is accelerating. We work at that intersection: helping leaders build the conditions where people and technology can both perform, for the long haul.
The Shift Approach
Most change efforts fail not because the strategy is wrong — but because the human and organizational conditions to execute it were never built.
We work across four interconnected scales — individual, team, organization, and network. They're nested. You can't fix the system without addressing the people inside it. And you can't develop the people without looking at the system they're operating in.
Free Assessment
As AI absorbs more analytical work, four distinctly human capacities determine how well you lead. In 12 questions and 4 minutes, this assessment reveals where yours stand — and where the gaps may be quietly costing you.

About
Andrea Moore spent nearly two decades at the intersection of strategy and sustainability working inside and consulting for some of the world's most complex organizations. She left convinced of one thing: the biggest barrier to change isn't strategy. It's human capacity.
She founded The Shift as a movement to work differently. With senior leaders and founders who are navigating genuine complexity — AI disruption, organizational breakdown, the pressure of trying to build something that actually matters — and who are ready to start with themselves.
The work is rigorous. The approach is human. The goal is leaders who can think clearly, decide well, and build organizations that don't burn people out in the process.
